Orphan Ministry Home Page
In the fall of 2006, we began meeting with our Outreach Director at Church of the Highlands, Helen James, to pray for orphans to be adopted locally and in other countries. Paula Sullivan, Jacki Despot, Erin Schmidt, Dixie Snipes and several others joined us to pray. In Jan. 2007, we continued seeking God, and were joined by Dan Riviere and Rebekah Blocher and a few others interested in a missions trip. It seemed each person that God brought our way had a burden for a specific country and had some experience reaching out to orphans and those in need. We branched out into two groups: one focusing on adoption and one focusing on humanitarian aid.
